Commissions

Looking to capture the essence of a beloved place? I offer custom paintings that bring your favorite locations to life - whether it's a home, a business, or a other type of cityscape or landscape. 

Whether it’s a gift, a keepsake, or just to celebrate a special location, I’m here to create something truly meaningful for you.

My standard commissions are:

*Gouache paintings of:

• • Houses
  • Buildings
  • Cityscapes (for example, a view of a street)
  • Landscapes

The standard size available is:

• 5 x 7 inches

All paintings will be done on acid-free cold-pressed heavyweight watercolor paper.

*What is gouache? Gouache is a water-based paint similar to watercolor, except it can be applied thicker and more opaquely. See examples below!

Pricing

The prices for my standard commission, as detailed above, are:

• 5 x 7 gouache painting – $300      deposit – $150
• Tax and shipping (if applicable) will be added to the total price

Timeframe

Standard custom paintings can take 3 weeks - 1.5+ months depending on how many I am working on at the moment. Rush charges may apply. If I cannot accommodate your commission at this time, I will add you to the waitlist.

• That you are seeking a standard commission (as outlined above)
• The subject of your painting (house, shop, etc.)
• 1-3 clear photos of the subject (if the subject of the painting is in Harrisburg, I can go on-site and take photos myself for an additional fee)
• If there is a specific deadline you need the painting done by
• Any other information you think I should know about your vision for the painting

Once we have agreed on the commission, I will send you a contract to sign, and then I will ask you to submit a deposit. Work will not begin until a deposit is received.
